I want to setup postfix to relay mail from my local network to my isp's
smtp server. For now
it is only suppose to relay mail for one user on one machine.
I don't have my own domain so the hostname of my machine is not a real
fqdn. I saw in the docs
that if the machine does not have a fqdn, you should use the fqdn that
the mail-system should use. But what does that mean exactly. Should I
use the fqdn of my isp's smtp server or does it mean something entirely
different? In short what should I set $myhostname to?
I don't really know what info to provide so if you need more than this
just say the word.
regards
Andreas
