    Yo!

I'm sure this is just a stupid setup problem, but I couldn't find
references to it. I have a firewall serving as mail router (Debian Linux
and - of course - postfix), and an internal masqueraded network. On any
connection to postfix from the internal network, the log sais:

    smtpd[13038]: warning: 192.168.0.1: hostname zaphod.fortywo.ch
            verification failed: Host not found
    smtpd[13038]: connect from unknown[192.168.0.1]

Although I think DNS is set up correctly:

    avbidderslartibartfast:~$ host zaphod.fortytwo.ch
    zaphod.fortytwo.ch A 192.168.0.1
    avbidderslartibartfast:~$ host 1.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa
    1.0.168.192.in-addr.arpa PTR zaphod.fortywo.ch

    (this is on the router).

The only special thing is that internal hostnames are set up only on the
internal nameseerver (running locally on the router), not in the
official nameserver for the domain (because the fortytwo.ch domain is
managed externally and I don't want to bother the sysadmin everytime I
    rearrange my internal network).

    Any hints?

(Note that mail is delivered normally)

    Greets & thanks
