A Postfix map is either a DBM indexed file, a Berkeley DB indexed
file, a regular expression table, or it is a network-based table
    such as NIS, LDAP, Mysql.

Of all these, only the regular expression table has end of line
    characters.

Postfix does not use plain text files as access maps.
