Problem resolved. We were doing a "postmap /etc/postfix/virtual-club"
but not a "postfix reload". Once we added the reload, the mail goes
through without sending any erroneous bounce messages.

He did. He just doesn't express himself very well. :)

This *does* work: (Note the absence of colons)

club.org anything
