Hi! First of all I just want to say that I'm no Postfix guru, but
starting to get the hang of it :-). I've been reading the mailing list
for about a week now, and I have to say that I'm really impressed by the
response time and quality of answers that people are getting! It's been
a really good way to view various adjustments that could be made to
better its configuration. Congrats to the people who help out in here,
your work is appreciated! :-)
Now to the issue at hand... hehe. I have configured our mail relay to
deny any sender that would have our domain name in it (ex. if domain.com
was our domain, I've configured sender restrictions to block anything
from domain.com). However, we have a few roaming users that would need
to be excluded from that list. I could just put their email address in
the access file as OK, but I was wondering if it was possible to make
postfix accept it only if this address comes from precise networks,
which in this case would be the range of address of the dial-up ISP. I
know it creates potential security risks, but unfortunately, it would be
necessary until our VPN access is set up.
Thanks a lot for the information!
Steve Johnson
