    There is a native BSD scanner from NAI. I'm not sure if it will run on
    BSD/OS but it runs on FreeBSD.

    uk2# file /usr/local/libexec/uvscan/uvscan
    /usr/local/libexec/uvscan/uvscan: ELF 32-bit LSB executable, Intel 80386,
    version 1 (FreeBSD), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), stripped

    uk2# uvscan --version
    Virus Scan for BSD v4.16.0
    Copyright (c) 1992-2001 Networks Associates Technology Inc. All rights
    reserved.

    ldd /usr/local/libexec/uvscan/uvscan
    /usr/local/libexec/uvscan/uvscan:
            libbsdfv.so.4 => /usr/local/lib/libbsdfv.so.4 (0x28079000)
            libm.so.2 => /usr/lib/libm.so.2 (0x28272000)
            libc.so.3 => /usr/local/lib/compat/libc.so.3 (0x2828e000)

    The easiest thing would be try out the evaluation version:
