hi all-
i'm running postfix on a machine 'solar.dipswitch.net'. it's primary job
is to accept mail addressed to user
dipswitch.net. of course, with the
following-
mydestination =
$myhostname,
$mydomain,
localhost.$mydomain
any mail sent to solar.dipswitch.net is received as well.
all mail leaving is rewritten as user
dipswitch.net, and i really would
like to only receive mail addressed to user
dipswitch.net, and have mail
sent to user
solar.dipswitch.net rejected.
i imagine that by removing $myhostname from mydestination, i could acheive
that, but i'm wondering if there would be negative side affects to doing
this..? also, what exactly does localhost.$mydomain do by having it in
mydestination?
thanks for any pointers
