Are dns lookups performed by smtp even if supplied with IP address in its
destination address, e.g.: 'content_filter = scan:[127.0.0.1]:10024' ???
From Wietse:
| OK, what about updated examples that have no DNS lookup as well as
| "no virtual mapping" for pre-filter mail?
If anyone cares to comment on my updated README.postfix instructions
for the amavisd setup:
http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/
http://www.ijs.si/software/amavisd/README.postfix
It describes simple and more complex setups in a form of
a heavily comment chunk to be appended to the master.cf file.
It includes the "no virtual mapping" for pre-filter mail,
as well as Victor's suggestion about disable_dns_lookups=yes.
