You're kidding about this one, aren't you? If you name qmail and
compatibility in one line, a negation is required. Ahem. You wanted to
avoid flame wars, so I'll stop this now.

Postfix does support MySQL virtual users, but AFAICS, vpopmail requires
qmail-send/qmail-local for its user mappings. I never set this up myself
though (neither mysql nor vpopmail).

ezmlm will not work at all with Postfix. You can let ezmlm-idx use
Postfix as delivery backend via QMQP. Again, I never did this.

Sort of. Look at Cyrus and Courier-IMAP if you're after IMAP or POP3
servers (with SSL), and Squirrelmail or Sqwebmail for webmail (sqwebmail
accesses Maildirs directly, Squirrelmail speaks IMAP).
