    Nice talk :-).

I'm not anyone in particular. I work as an independent consultant
(although I've been working with HP for the past four years). Lately, I've
been working mostly on Internet security and Internet applications
    development.

I'm on and off this list. Mostly on, but I'm busy writing a book at the
moment ;-), so periodically, I have to unsubscribe. The list is a bit too
active at times. As a matter of fact, I was not subscribed when this
thread started. I happened to be browsing the list on Google groups and
    came upon it.

I must say that the list is a great resource and it has helped in planning
and research for the book. I don't think there is another list populated
with as many extremely bright and helpful people.

When I'm not working, I help to make the world safe for reading--serving
on my local and regional library boards. I plan to have a word with
rcls.org about online privacy, etc. But I'm certainly happy to answer any
question any of you may have. (Although my wife would appreciate it if you
refrain from calls to my home phone. :->)
