I had a look into the VIRTUAL_README file and saw you might want to try
this:
virtual_mailbox_base = /var/mail/vhosts
virtual_mailbox_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/vmailbox
and fill your /etc/postfix/vmailbox file with records like
username usernameMailbox
so that mail for username is put into the
"/var/mail/vhosts/usernameMailbox" File
