As i understand the posting from Michael Tokarev the question was why the
response-code from postfix is 250 after the "MAIL FROM:" with a wrong
address-format and the 504 after the "RCPT TO:" with correct format.
According to the transcript of session the message was rejected as it
should be anyway.
The second question was why the address in the "MAIL FROM:" line is altered
to a form with 3 "<" starting and 3 ">" closing and in the line with
reject-code 504 the address is show as it really was with 1 "<" and 2 ">"
and that´s why it was rejected.
Michael Tokarev do you agree or have i completely missed you?
