Im experiencing a really wierd problem..
Im trying to use postmap and newaliases from a script. From normal commandline the postmap command works perfectly, but when using it from the script, the virtual.db just goes empty.. All the old virtual mappings gets cleared as well... As if i /etc/postfix/virtual was empty..
The same applies to newaliases..
I have a hunch that postfix is trying to read its config from anther directory than /etc/postfix, yet, thats just a hunch..
i did a 'locate virtual', but no alternative virtual files seems to be present on the box..
Ive tried a load of different things and now i cant think of anything else to try..
This is the last thing i was trying..
cd /etc/postfix
export MAIL_CONFIG=/etc/postfix
/usr/sbin/postmap -c /etc/postfix hash:/etc/postfix/virtual </etc/postfix/virtual 2>&1
I just dont get it.. What more can i do?
Im running debian woody..
Does ANYONE have an idea?
Greetings
