I think you might have mis-read my mail :)..Or maybe i didnt make my point
very well..
(I should add (just to avoid confusion) that im not a newbie with either
linux nor postfix..)
postmap /etc/postfix/virtual
is ofcourse the very very first thing i tried..
ive tried alot of different things eg.
postmap /etc/postfix/virtual
postmap /etc/postfix/virtual </etc/postfix/virtual
postmap -c /etc/postfix/ /etc/postfix/virtual
postmap -c /etc/postfix/ hash:/etc/postfix/virtual
ect.ect.ect.
The 3 lines i attached is the very very last thing i tried.. (all 3 lines
are from same script)
> % find / -name postmap | xargs ls -l
Returns: "/usr/sbin/postmap" (same path as in the script 3 lines)
