Hi folks, I have been running postfix now for almost 6 months without a
hitch. A problem has cropped up with two mail servers. Both that service
semi important clients for our comapny. Typically we deliver 1200 +/-
pieces of mail daily to 70 or so domains. But not these two. The problem
    in short is below

lost connection with mail1.theirmail.com[000.000.000.000] while sending
    HELO

lost connection with mail2.theirmail.com[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] while sending
    HELO

I have full output from mailog as I did specific peer debugging on both
    machines.

In both cases I can connect from my mail server and manually send mail to
both. They are both running exchange as evidenced from this...

    mail1.theirmail.com[000.000.000.000]: 220 exchange.monroe ESMTP Server
(Microsoft Exchange Internet Mail Service 5.5.2653.13) ready

    < mail2.theirmail.com[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]: 220 tcpdfwsa01.treeoflife.com
    ESMTP
Server (Microsoft Exchange Internet Mail Service 5.5.2653.13) ready

All mail from my server to any address is dropped from these two.

The one thing of note is that the servers never properly respond to my
server... see below... both servers respond identically...

I have done a considerable amount of digging in the list archives and come
up empty handed with a solution. The sys staff at both locations of these
servers have been less than helpful. The suits here are getting bent and
I'm at a loss. Have I missed something. These are the ONLY issues I've
encounterd since I inherited this server. Your thoughts and suggestions
    welcome and appreciated.

    Regards,
    Mark
