    In addition to what Jussi said...

    Are users local or remote? If remote, how are you validating your users?
    If using LDAP, check your LDAP config as well.

    I'm having an issue where postfix pauses after the rcpt to: line, for
    almost 30 seconds. This pause occurs when it's a _valid_ recipient.
    After the 30 seconds, everything is fine and the e-mail goes through very
    quickly.

    I'm running Solaris 8 and postfix-1.1.11.

    I did a quick search and couldn't find anything horribly obvious. This
    config is working fine on another box I have here.

    Any ideas would be much appreciated.
