is it at all possible to kave
only 1 smtp mailer and cyrus on the same machine and the scanner on the same machine
and still have both local and outging mail checked by the scanner and not have the thing loop?
is it possible to somehow mark the mail before it is scanned and when it comes from the scanner not have it scanned again but rather delivered to cyrus or if its outgoing send it out
?
has anyone been successfull in doing this?

ok
i have postfix working with sasl authentication.
so here is the problem.
when i send the mail to the server it is accepted since i'm sasl authenticated.
then the AVP scanner checks it and resends it from localhost(and its not SASL authenticated) where it fails.
has anyone been successfull in setting up postfix+SASL+AVP?(oh and cyrus...we use cyrus).
