Hi,
I am having the problem of setting myorigin parameter (main.cf) with
postfix-1.1.11 on Red Hat Linux 7.2. Though I tried setting up explicitly myorigin paramet to the name of the domain name of my network, it didn't work at all. I also tried it leaving as myorigin = $mydomain. It didn't work, either. I would like to have my origin as cc.kou.edu.tr when sending email instead of mozart.cc.kou.edu.tr. However, it still includes hostname in the 'from' part of emails as mozart.cc.kou.edu.tr. I appreciate any kind of help.
P.S. postconf shows:
myhostname = mozart.cc.kou.edu.tr
mydomain = cc.kou.edu.tr
myorigin = $mydomain
