amavis is only the mail/av scanner bridge, not an av scanner per se.

My license is for a single mail server; I think I paid USD$560 for
it, and the renewal last year was a good bit less than that. I just
tried to get to their web site to see if I could find it and could
not get to the site; no telling what is down between here and there.
