if you use linux, you could force bind to non local interface
to always succeed by: 'echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_nonlocal_bind'.
it would assuming that you know what you're doing(tm).
nothing stop you to simply use all interface (i.e INADDR_ANY).
