I have been running Postfix on FreeBSD
Today im seeing the following messages in /var/log/messages
Oct 17 03:01:01 corp postfix/sendmail[86809]: fatal: usage: mailq [options]
Oct 17 03:02:20 corp postfix/sendmail[87017]: fatal: usage: sendmail [options]
I'm running 4.6-STABLE and my /etc/mail/mailer.conf file has the following entries:
sendmail /usr/local/sbin/sendmail
send-mail /usr/local/sbin/sendmail
mailq /usr/local/sbin/sendmail
newaliases /usr/local/sbin/sendmail
And my /etc/rc.conf has
sendmail_enable="YES"
sendmail_flags="-bd"
sendmail_outbound_enable="NO"
sendmail_submit_enable="NO"
sendmail_msp_queue_enable="NO"
Has anyone else seen these entries in their log file? I'm concerned that
I also can't figure out what is producing these messages at 3AM as I don't have any cron entries for that timeframe for root.
Any ideas?
Best regards
