I've stopped and started postfix many times. I've even stopped postfix,
issued a postsuper -s, then restarted. No change.

The rest of our domains are gotten from "mydestination" in the
/usr/local/etc/postfix/vhosts file.

One problem at a time here, but I didn't realize there was an issue with
permit_mx_backup. Know where I can find more info on it? In the archives?
