    I use maildrop, and I always try to filter on a "list" header, since some
    people include the mailing list address in a TO:; some in a CC:; etc. Check
    the headers of a mail list post.

    From my .mailfilter:

      if ( /^X-Mailing-List: libranet-users/ )
      to "Maildir/.Libranet"

      if ( /^X-Mailing-List: .debian-news.lists.debian.org/ )
      to "Maildir/.Debian-News"

      if ( /^List-Post: .mailto:postfix-users.postfix.org/ )
      to "Maildir/.Postfix"

    All my posts from Libranet, et al, are properly filtered.
