    Hand Side):

    owner.domain. MX 10 mx.fully.qualified.domain.

    .. means that you cannot also do this:

    mx.fully.qualified.domain. CNAME some.domain.

    MX (and NS) RDATA fields must be fully qualified, canonical domain names.
