Hi,
I have a machine in a private network which relays mail via a mail
gateway. I set myorigin to $mydomain to avoid any problems with access
control measures on remote sites however all mail to local users now gets
mailed to the mail gateway eg:
mail-gw.fqdn.com -------- no-dns.fqdn.com
on "no-dns" if I
echo "hello" | mail root
the mail goes to root
fqdn.com
This appears to be the logical consequence of setting the origin.
My question is:
Q/ How do I get mail to users where there is no host specified to be
delivered to the local machine whilst having $myorigin as a valid
domain/host name.

sendmail_path = /usr/lib/sendmail
setgid_group = postdrop
