Does anyone have any idea why postfix is issuing different error codes for
what appears (to me) to be the same error?
Feb 3 17:31:50 bachelor postfix/smtpd[26775]: reject: RCPT from
unknown[64.46.114.164]: 450 Client host rejected: cannot find your
hostname, [64.46.114.164]; from=<sender
mail4.unlist.net> to=<me
mchenry.net>
Feb 4 01:13:48 bachelor postfix/smtpd[29512]: reject: RCPT from
unknown[66.129.124.179]: 554 Client host rejected: cannot find your
hostname, [66.129.124.179]; from=<mail2
mail.play4keeps.com>
to=<me
mchenry.net>
The first one went out with a 450, the second with a 554. The 554 I can
explain, since that's the code in main.cf. But, I have grepped the entire
postfix config directory and there isn't a 450 anywhere...
Thanks...
Stephen
