    Actually Eric,

I think you nailed it. My work and other personal account won't accept mail
from my domain because of the reverse lookup issue. Sending test messages to
myself (grayrunlevel6.com) from Yahoo mail, which apparently couldn't care
less about DNS, works fine. I suppose this problem is solved. I friend of
mind recommended looking into smart hosting....

This is the other end saying that your domain name "does not resolve".

    % host runlevel6.com
    runlevel6.com has address 66.159.220.130
    runlevel6.com mail is handled (pri=10) by ns1.runlevel6.com
    % host ns1.runlevel6.com
    ns1.runlevel6.com has address 66.159.220.130
    % host 66.159.220.130
    130.220.159.66.IN-ADDR.ARPA domain name pointer
    netblock-66-159-220-130.dslextreme.com

Perhaps they have a strict reverse lookup policy.

    Try sending mail somewhere else.
