HI,

I searched the archives for this..and found some stuff way back in 2000 but never saw an answer that i could decipher.

I just installed RH8 and have been using Postfix for some time now on a Mandrake box.
I'm wondering is there is a way to, instead of creating a /Maildir in each user's home directory, if i can send each user's mail to /var/spool/mail/$usernamedir. I use cyrus on this machine as well. None of my users need a home directory as none of them can log into the machine, so the /var/spool/mail format is much easier to backup. I do like the speed of the maildir format however, this outweighs the simplicity of having everything go to /var/spool/mail.

I just want to know if this is possible editing the main.conf or master.cf
