Greetings,
I'm a member of Fidonet [it's not dead yet "))] and using a Fido <>
Internet gateway.
Unfortunately the gateway translates Fido addresses to the official
Fido address somebody
px.fxx.nxxx.zy.fidonet.org and fidonet.org has
been down for quite some time, so people are not able to reply to these
messages.
There is some disagreement between me and the author of the gateway
about whether the gateway or the MTA should translate to an Internet
address at my system :)
My question is: is postfix able to translate the senders address
somebody
px.fxx.nxxx.zy.fidonet.org to a proper Internet address like
somebody
duinheks.xs4ll.nl and if so, where should I start looking for
information about how to do it?
I'm using version 1.1.12 but will upgrade if necessary.
Regards,
Hans.
