If you are using a "relayhost" (relayhost = smtp.earthlink.net) with
Postfix versions prior to 2.0.x, also set "disable_dns_lookups = yes".
This will turn off recipient domain canonicalizatio, which can introduce
delays into the SMTP dialogue. Also if you are not already, run a local
DNS cache.
