Still deferring when aliased to a script...

Ok, I've made this change, as well as upgraded to Postfix 2.0.9, and am still having the same problem.

Under the new postfix version, I'm also seeing logs like the following:

May 1 11:11:34 util001 postfix/local[79956]: warning: fork: Resource temporarily unavailable

Appears to be the same error as before, just reported a bit differently by the error libs in the new version.

I do not believe system load to be an issue here. System load has been noted to be below .25 during this behavior. For reference, this is a dual-processor IBM RS/6000 (F50) running the multi-processor kernel, AIX version 4.3.3, and the box is not especially taxed.

What's strange is, I can't find a corrolation between system load and the inability of the system to spawn the aliased application... so my theory seems to be shot.

Any other ideas on why I'm sometimes able to spawn another process, and other times not?

Thanks,

- Dave
