IP to use for outgoing traffic

I know that you can set the IP(s) for Postfix to bind to in
$smtp_bind_address, but is there a way (in Postfix 1.x) to define
an address for outgoing traffic to use? This way, you can define an
address which isn't the machine's main IP for outbound traffic, but
still have smtpd listening on all addresses.
