Forward only?

Hello All,
I have I think a easy question and I have read the facts about forwarding to
the mx server all outgoing messages to deliver while leaving the local
intact.
I am having trouble finding how to forward the local ones as well. I have a
stand alone firewall and backup server that is running many cron jobs. I
would like to have that machine 'forward' all the local emails(this is only
the output from the crons) to the actual mail server so I have a status of
the crons jobs.
I have the back up server with postfix as localhost only, and a nullclient but
I am not able to open POP to retrieve them or SMTP on that machine since it
is a firewall redirecting with iptables.
Is there anyway to make this machine just forward?
Thanks for any help
