Hi,
I just got Simon's 2.0.9-1 src.rpm and am trying to rebuild it on Redhat
Enterprise Linux ES v. 2.1. I'm hoping someone can help me out here as it
won't build. It errors out saying it needs db4-devel for postfix-2.0.9.rh8.
I'm guessing it can't recognize my system because it's not the usual 7.3, 8
or 9. I installed the src.rpm and tried to edit the makespec file and when
i try to run that, it errors out saying it can't determine the OS. the
funny thing is, if i do a rpmbuild -ba postfix.spec when i'm in the SPECS
directory, it seems to build but it worries me about the defaults it's
choosing since it can't determine the system. Another issue is i wanted to
add mySQL support as well, and since i can't get the makespec file to run i
don't see a way to do this. (Yes, i know i could build it from source but
i'm trying to keep things in rpm format for easier upgrading/removal)
Thanks in advance,
Aaron Martinez
