$RECIPIENT and aliases

I'm using postfix-1.1.11, and am encountering the following behavior:
the Delivered-To: header contains the alias, rather than the value of
$RECIPIENT (e.g. the account to which it is actually delivered). I'm not
sure this is a bug, per se, but it certainly isn't the behavior that I
expect.

Since the alias (the original envelope recipient) should be identified in
the Received: header, shouldn't Delivered-To: contain the real envelope
recipient after alias processing?
