 Hi,

 I'd like to know whether or not (and where) is documented the way of
configuring Postfix for a simple scenario such as:
- 1 mail domain: "mydomain.com"
- 2 MTAs: "smtp1.mydomain.com" and "smtp2.mydomain.com"
- The first machine contains mailboxes for a group of users containing
accounts like amydomain.com and bmydomain.com
- The second one contains the other group (containing cmydomain.com and
dmydomain.com). Please note that the same domain is used in both
machines.
- The idea is to optimize Internet bandwidth, so when user with account
amydomain.com sends email to bmydomain.com, it is not passed to smtp2
(user "a", "b" and smtp1 are all in the same LAN: "Lan1"). Obviusly,
users "a" and "b" have smtp1 as their default SMTP server. In a similar
way, users "c" and "d" have configured smtp2 as their SMTP server and
all of them are in the same LAN ("lan2") (Note that Lan1 and Lan2 are
separated through Internet).

I think this configuration should be quite typical. Has someone
implemented it with Postfix? Is there any paper describing such
configuration? Which is the easiest way of administering both groups of
users (in each smtp server)?
