Shouldn't be ashamed to proclaim you've Seen The Light and dumped
M$/M$-based malware in favour of Real Software ;).

But you haven't, you see? What do you suppose the vast majority of
people on this mailing list, that have been helping you, do for a
living? (You perhaps missed this when I pointed this same thing out
to another non-IT person here: Robin.)

Well, you see, the documentation is written for IT people. The
product is designed for IT people to deploy. It's not M$ Office.
It's an MTA. For non-IT people there's M$ malware. It's designed
for the clueless ;).

Sorry if that seems a bit harsh, but IT professionals are, for the
most part, really not all that awfully concerned about whether non-IT
professionals can do an IT professional's job. Any more than any
other professional is all that interested in whether some amateur in
*their* field can do *their* job without them.

Chateauneuf: Maybe *you'd* care to address this (Robin apparently
wasn't. <sarcasm>Can't imagine why not.</sarcasm>): Why is it that
some people somehow expect to be able to do an IT professional's job
without the IT professional's knowledge and experience? Why is it
those same people get all offended when IT professionals point out,
most times rightly so, that amateurs just shouldn't be foolin' with
Big Red Buttons when they don't know what they do? Why is it that
people seem to think IT professionals oughtta give 'em no end of free
consultation--to help 'em get away without paying an IT professional
an honest day's wage? And how in hell do people think they can get
away with dissin' the very same people from which they've been
gettin' all that free help, and continue to get that free help?

Inquiring minds and all that rot...
