I have been really trying to stay out of this one. But, you pushed the right
button. :-(
First, I never gloated.
Second, I don't do all the computer stuff. Only mail, newsfeeds and
occasionally, DNS (when it impacts on mail). Our firewalls, database needs,
etc,. are handled by others. We do back each other up when someone is out of
the office.
Third, I made no claim of superiority. We do things in the manner we do, out
of necessity. Not because it is "better" for anyone else. If I took any
exception to what Jim sais, it was the same one I have to anyone who tells me
that theirs is the only right way to (think|behave|believe|vote|feel|etc.).
Fourth, you assumed (as have others) that everyone in this forum is male.
That said, I will make one observation about postfix documentation.
Everything you need to know about running postfix is there. However, since
the same questions keep being asked, the information may not be located where
people expect to find it.
