Hmmm ... what's wrong with the normal ".forward file in the user's home
directory?"
If the user doesn't have a home directory, but is a virtual-configured
user, then I pass, others know better than me. Although grepping -ir in
your Postfix config and README directories will give some clues, if you
need them.
But if the user needs a home directory, then he'll already be configured
as having a posixAccount objectclass and therefore by necessity a
homeDirectory attribute in LDAP. Like mine are.
