Server Hang

Hey,I have two servers configured one for send one for receive and they work
fine. Except twice a day now the receive server hangs. After a hard reboot
one of the first processes I see looks like below with a ps -aux
cpu% mem% vsz rss
7.5 58.2 654444 298580 ? D /usr/bin/perl -T -w /usr/bin/spamassassin
/usr/bin/sendmail -i -f
MAILERDAEMONmydomain.com -- usernamemydomain.com
It just seems so wierd, I read that postfix limits the amount it deals with
to prevent server hang, so I am not too sure what is up, any ideas anyone?
