Hi again,
I have completed the install for Amavis-new & ClamAV only a
couple of weeks back & it's not all that hard.
Although the following link:
http://www.afp548.com/Articles/mail/postfix-sa.html
describes the install for Mac OSX Server, the procedure it describes
is easily adapted to Linux, just make sure to read ALL the readme
files you find in the downloaded packages. Personally, I found it
much easier to download the tarballs from the amavis-new site &
expand them in-situ, then follow the other instructions in that
article. One caveat - make sure to telnet to both the amavisd &
postfix daemons on their respectively added new ports so you're sure
it's all working - then tweak the amavisd.conf file to suit your
needs. Hope this helps.
