Everybody who has _any_ feelings, has strong feelings about djbdns
-vs- bind. On one side or the other. My own feelings lean strongly
towards djbdns, but there are plenty of old hands who will jump up
strongly in favour of bind.

If you want to give djbdns a try, I've two suggestions to offer:

- If you are new to djbdns, you might find it helpful to give a
quick read in the direction of <URL:http://lifewithdjbdns.org/>,
it's an overview that may be helpful for getting oriented.

- If you find djb's daemontools' fondness for whizzing all over your
root directory tasteless, djbdns's components are easy to run
under normal, straightforward init scripts. I've got a set I use
  available at <URL:http://bent.latency.net/djbdns-initscripts/>.
