Hello,

This is my first post. I'm trying to use Postfix to attempt local de;livery
of mail bounced to Postfix by another domain. I've gone crazy trying to read
about virtual domains and I thought that if I described my intentions then
somebody could tell me if what I want to do is even possible.

The remote domain is hosted at an ISP (call it my-remote.com) that allows me
to configure a default bounce address that has to be in the form of
joemypostfix.com. The portion to the left of the at-sign cannot be
omitted or wildcarded.

The affect I want to achieve is that when mail is sent to
alexmy-remote.com, buzzmy-remote.com, chrismy-remote.com then my local
Postfix will attempt to deliver it to alexmypostfix..com,
buzzmypostfix.com, chrismypostfix.com if they exist locally, otherwise
reject it. So far nothing works, I just get the mail delivered to
joemypostfix.com and that's the end of it.

Thanks for any insight you can give me.

Paul
