The new postfix will contain no local mailboxes. Eventually all mail
will go to
The exchange box, but during our transision period we need to see if the
user
Exists on the exchange box, if it doesn't, attepmts deliveries to our
old postfix
Box.

Currently, .forwards to personmail.internal.domain, so we could do it
this way
But its kinda messy. I had a look through the ldap documentation to see
what it
Can do. I may be able to make a script that looks at our exchange box
Grabs the entire catalog of mail addresses then creates a hash file with
a catch
All at the bottom to route off to old box.

I havent really got a config yet as It's a brand new install and its
only got defaults :)

Describe your requirements in more detail.

- How is mail that is to be delivered locally delivered (local(8),
  virtual(8), Cyrus? Courier Maildrop?)

- How do you currently decide what mail to send to Exchange and what to
delivery on the existing Postfix server?

- How will mailboxes be distributed when you have 2 Postfix servers and
  what is your transition plan?

- Postfix configuration (postconf -n) and and other relevant
information.
