Yup, running postfix on two gentoo servers with 0 problems. I just
copied over changes from my debian install's main.cf, restarted it, and
as far as I remember, it just worked. Not sure how things are
configured under redhat, but if it's just editing the config file,
you'll find exactly the same situation under gentoo.
