May i possibly suggest Debian??
An "stable" base plus select packages from unstable plus self-compiled
kernel and Postfix ( unless Lamont Jones gets the time to package snapshots
again ) is probably the best distro for a Linux-based server these days. I
will never go back to brain-dead RPM-based distros again, if i there is any
chance to avoid it.
