Heh ... that's not the last resort, though. The last resort is banning
everything and only letting friends in, which is what I normally do.
Only, said privileged user is one who idiot spammers (and most of them
*are* utter idiots, who buy or purloin 10th-class idiot software)
generally don't know about. On a high-class production rig (low-medium
volume) I don't have to use this sort of ploy and can resort to
Postfix's smtp proxy stuff with amavisd-new and SA. But this rig gives
me the chance to learn new techniques that most people would never have
to use.
