I've done some digging in the archives, but perhaps not enough. Is it
that anvil should not be used for these possible out-of-control
bursts because it isn't mature enough? I got it that it shouldn't be
used for anything but extreme cases, but that almost sounds like
precisely what the original poster was asking for....
