unable to have external email forward users (bounced to default postmaster account)

All,

I have users that can send and recieve email fine internal. All inbound
email is failing to get to the valid email accounts, and is send to the
postmaster internal user.

All outbound email works. All external email addresses match the
internal user account names.

Any ideas on what config setting, I need to focus on to resolve this
problem.
