dracd and the 'lookup table has changed -- exiting' problem

From: Lukas Ruf (rufrawip.org)

Dear all,

after searching the web quite intensively, I dare ask a question which
has been asked several times -- but I have not found a concrete
answer.

In our log, I find quite often the following message:

  May 3 15:16:57 XXXX postfix/smtpd[3515]: [ID 197553 mail.info] \
lookup table has changed -- exiting

After I have stopped the mail server several times, run newaliases and
restarted the server afterwards, I assume the problem for the 'table
has changed -- exiting' message is located at dracd.

We are using dracd on a solaris box to control client access:

  smtpd_recipient_restrictions =
          permit_mynetworks,
          check_client_access btree:/etc/postfix/client_access,
          check_client_access btree:/etc/postfix/dracd,

Hence, my questions:

- does dracd change the table 'on-the-fly' and is the source of the
  above message?

- are the implications of that caused the above message negligeable?

Thanks for any answer!

wbr,
Lukas
